In their 11-year pro­fes­sion­al career as per­form­ers, Dust of Soul jour­neyed around the world (Europe, North Africa, the Ara­bi­an Penin­su­la, India, USA) to share their orig­i­nal music in numer­ous shows and medias and – as their spe­cial­ty – cre­ate music intu­itive­ly in the moment on stage.

From the begin­ning, singer Dusty and pianist MiKey nev­er felt com­fort­able start­ing a con­cert with an orig­i­nal song of them. They felt they need to start dif­fer­ent­ly to con­nect with their audi­ence right from the start to cre­ate the expe­ri­ence they were seek­ing. Dusty and Mikey felt every­one was at a dif­fer­ent place. Some were stressed because they were stuck in traf­fic while dri­ving or look­ing for a park­ing space. Oth­ers were absent think­ing of their sched­ules. Dust of Soul fig­ured every­one brings his own sto­ry to an event.
Dusty & Mikey always felt real­ly close to their audi­ence. Inter­act­ing with the audi­ence has always been at the heart of their expe­ri­ences. Like real sto­ry­telling: Dust of Soul share their sto­ry with every song. Although their songs are about their life expe­ri­ences, they deal with uni­ver­sal themes that every­one can relate to: like “believe in your­self,” “find­ing courage,” “feel­ing at home,” “friend­ships”.

The goal of Dust of Soul has always been for their audi­ence to go home and say, “Wow, I feel some­thing.” To real­ize that their own thoughts are deceiv­ing them.

That’s why Dust of Soul start­ed con­certs with a “song cre­at­ed in the moment”. This expe­ri­ence had a pro­found impact on audi­ences. Peo­ple were touched emo­tion­al­ly on a lev­el far beyond that. It became the high­light of our per­for­mances all over the world.

After a while, peo­ple start­ed ask­ing about a one-on-one expe­ri­ence. Dust of Soul start­ed offer­ing ses­sions. It even went so far as to chan­nel soul songs – mes­sages in lyrics with the melody of the heart – a ser­vice Dust of Soul now offer in crys­tal stores in San­ta Mon­i­ca, California.

“Per­form­ing from intu­ition” comes from a mirac­u­lous event Dusty expe­ri­enced just one week before her 30th birth­day when she became a par­al­ized brain stroke vic­tim. Her “inner voice” led her to an instan­ta­neous heal­ing with­in three days only through the vibra­tion of her own voice. Ever since she has the abil­i­ty to chan­nel melodies and lyrics in ses­sions and per­for­mances right at the spot.

Togeth­er with MiKey, who has the abil­i­ty to play the piano intu­itive­ly from ear­ly child­hood through grow­ing up in a dra­mat­ic fam­i­ly envi­ron­ment, Dust of Soul have estab­lished a nat­ur­al way of “read­ing” ener­gy of the room and every­one present and “reflect­ing” it through music in a vocal-piano performance.

«Cre­ate every­thing in one blink, it’s all in your hands». Dust of Soul’s song “Won­der­land” is full of pow­er and moti­va­tion. It wakes you up. The lyrics con­vey per­son­al respon­si­bil­i­ty and that every change starts with us. Very eas­i­ly. How con­scious­ly we make our deci­sions is up to us.
