A Swiss Song of Love for Oman
«When Saskia Stäuble, a Swiss woman, visited the Sultanate about nine months ago, she felt some positive energy gushing forth within her. She had this unusual feeling as she was returning to her hotel with a friend and pianist, Michael Odermatt. In the evening, they strolled on a beach and visited some mountains. The Oman daily newspaper «Oman Observer» printed the story of «A Swiss song of love for Oman» with the introduction of the song «The Color of Oman Is Love» by Swiss duo «Dust of Soul». Journalist Kabeer Yousuf poetically combined his article with the lyrics of the song written by Saskia Stäuble, also known as Dusty, singer & songwriter of «Dust of Soul».
Music video initiative
October-November 2016
Dust of Soul documented their journey and express their feelings for Oman and its people in a music video. They produced the video themselves. Ahmed Al-Raisi, painter and artist himself, who become a dear friend, supported the idea with his appearance in the music video.
The video was released in November 2016 on Facebook and YouTube and generated ever since more than 100’000 views.
Girija Baqer Art Foundation Award

The «Girija Baquer Art Foundation» awarded Dust of Soul for their «contribution to the world of music». The ceremony was held at Chitra Narayan’s event hall in Ruwi, Muscat, after the release of Dust of Soul’s newest project: «Flow».
The award was handed over by Dr. Retnakumar Janardanan and Chitra Narayan. Lakshmi Kothaneth presented the show and ceremony.
Collaboration with White Rose Institute of Music & Arts

Their first release of the new album released half a year later in March 2019, Dust of Soul initiated a music video to that song «Flow» in collaboration with dancers from the «White Rose Institute of Music & Arts».
For its premiere on 28 November 2021, Dust of Soul invited to the release show at the event hall of Chithra Narayan in Ruwi, Muscat.
